Patriotic Education at Grascent: Strengthening Conviction, Inspiring Action

To fully study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and to further consolidate the results of Party history learning and education, the Party Branch of Grascent organized two groups of Party members to visit the Songshan Battle Site and the National Martyrs Cemetery in Tengchong, Yunnan Province, between April and May, carrying out a series of patriotic education activities.

At the Songshan Battle Site, where trenches and shell craters remain preserved among towering pines and cypresses, Party members revisited the solemn history of the Chinese Expeditionary Force’s heroic battles. Through a specialized Party lecture, historical films, and visits to battlefield relics, they deepened their understanding of the hardships and sacrifices made in the fight against aggression. Members offered floral tributes, revisited the Party admission oath, and drew strength from the Songshan Spirit of “fearlessness in the face of powerful enemies and unity in battle”.

Afterward, members proceeded to the National Martyrs Cemetery in Tengchong. In front of the solemn Memorial Hall, members bowed in silence to honor the heroes who sacrificed their lives in the Western Yunnan campaigns. Inside the museum, yellowed letters, rusted weapons, and worn military uniforms vividly depicted the harsh realities of the War of Resistance. The stories of “mountains and rivers won with blood” and “young lives turning into soldiers” offered a profound spiritual awakening to all participants.

This “on-site teaching + immersive experience” activity transformed history into a living classroom, blending Party cultivation with the inheritance of revolutionary spirit. Participating Party members expressed their determination to take the martyrs as role models, turn patriotism into concrete action, fulfill their responsibilities with dedication, and inject “red momentum” into Grascent’s high-quality development—allowing the great spirit of the War of Resistance to shine anew in the new era.
